THE MARCHERS

In 1983, in a France plagued by intolerance and racial violence, three young teenagers and the priest of Les Minguettes launched a great peaceful march for equality and against racism, covering more than 1,000 km between Marseille and Paris. In spite of the difficulties and the resistance they encountered, their movement will give birth to a real impulse of hope in the manner of Gandhi and Martin Luther King. They will unite more than 100,000 people from all walks of life upon their arrival, and will give France its new face.
