XVIIIth century. Suzanne, 16 years old, is forced by her family to enter the orders, while she aspires to live in “the world”. In the convent, she is confronted with the arbitrariness of the ecclesiastical hierarchy: superior mothers who are in turn benevolent, cruel or a little too loving… The passion and strength that drive her allow her to resist the barbarity of the convent, pursuing her only goal: to fight by all means to regain her freedom.
